Ueli Maurer

Ueli Maurer is a Swiss politician who was indirectly elected the 94th President of the Swiss Confederation in 2018 and assumed office in 2019. Maurer was previously the head of the Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sports and the Federal Department of Finance since 2016.
