Bongbong Marcos
Ferdinand "Bongbong" Romualdez Marcos Jr. is a Filipino politician who is the 17th and current president of the Philippines. He previously served as a senator from 2010 to 2016. He is the second child and only son of former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and former first lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos. In 2021, Marcos announced that he would run for President of the Philippines in the 2022 election, under the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), which he won by a landslide. Marcos received nearly 59% of the votes, becoming the first to be elected by a majority since the establishment of the Fifth Republic in 1986.
